# Eco for agents

> Use Eco documentation, signed quotes, and onchain programs when building agent-driven stablecoin workflows.

Use the Routes API when your agent needs to request a stablecoin transfer. Keep transaction signing and approval within your application's wallet policy. The [agent integration guide](/api-reference/agent-integration) provides a reference transfer script and describes what it verifies.

## Build a transfer tool

Start with [Build with AI agents](/get-started/build-with-agents) to install documentation skills and connect the docs MCP server. The docs server provides documentation access; transfer execution requires an API integration and a signer.

Your tool should validate the requested chain, token, recipient, and amount, verify the quote and funding transaction, then track the submitted intent. Return the intent and transaction identifiers so your application can follow up after a timeout.

## Add conditional execution

For decisions based on onchain state, review [Programmable Transactions](/programmable-transactions/overview). The [best-pool swap example](/cookbook/sauce/best-pool-swap) compares two configured pools within one program. It does not search every venue or guarantee the best market price.

If you use delegated token permissions, review [Permit3](/routes/primitives/permit3/overview) and configure the spender, amount, and expiration for your integration.

## Next steps

* [Agent integration](/api-reference/agent-integration) for the reference script and verification limits.
* [Destination calls](/routes/capabilities/destination-calls) for contract execution during fulfillment.
